Dolly Parton
I first met Dolly backstage at the Grand Ole Opry. I was a big admirer of her and her work, we both were recording for RCA at the time. She had a great (or wicked) sense of humor and asked me if I wanted to touch her chest to see if they were real! I knew better! That broke the ice and I have enjoyed all our times together ever since. Her amazing writing and choice of music have always captivated me, and I have loved and appreciated her many roles in the music business, but mostly her entrepreneurship! We’ve lost the biggest heart and the biggest real star in the entertainment world.
She always called me her blind date.
I love and miss Dolly!
